Housing needed in Northern ColoradoOver the past 6 months, our office
has been inundated with phone calls and website leads from people looking for an immediate place to live. With the current market conditions and the lack of realistic
loan terms and funding available for consumers, there are thousands of vacant homes on the market that are not selling.
According to IRES, Northern Colorado’s Regional MLS, there are currently 4,393 attached, residential
and income homes for sale in the Fort Collins, Loveland/Berthoud and Greeley markets. Of those, 2,020 are vacant.
The negative is that almost 50% of current homes available are at risk of deferred maintenance, vandalism and
potential devaluation creating risk and cost not only to the owner, but the communities as well. The positive is that
some of these homes could be leased to pre-qualified individuals and families in need who can occupy the
property and create income for the owner until the lease expires, the home sells, or the tenant purchases
the property
at a mutually agreed price and time frame.Take Me Home Real Estate, LLC is a local, licensed real estate firm and our mission is "Helping people
make informed decisions when buying, selling or renting real estate." tm
We are currently seeking builders and owners with vacant home inventory who are interested
in leasing their property to individuals or families in need. We have multiple renters (both in and
out of state) who are actively looking for a home and our goal is to match these clients to the right property.
