It goes without saying that interest rates are at an all time low.   We continually hear that now is the time to buy and I would have to agree...if we have the job stability, credit score and down payment that is.  Lender restrictions are continuing to increase because of market conditions and the value of a trusted, professional mortgage lender is imperative.  I'm not promoting one over the other, however I would suggest doing extensive homework prior to even applying for a home loan.
